As a DevOps Engineer, each day you will be working on developing better application automation, increase platform security, and reduce end user installation complexity.
We are looking for motivated, talented, and experienced DevOps Engineers to help extend, design, build, and automate a Big Data, Platform as a Service (PaaS). In this role, you will be working with talented Software Developers, Network Engineers, System Administrators, Cyber Security Engineers, and DevOps Engineers to build out an automated PaaS environment utilizing tools like Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, Vagrant, and more!
Our Ideal Candidate possesses:
Strong Linux administration experience
Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management
Familiarity working with automated build processes such as Jenkins and Maven
Experience with virtualization environment such as KVM, VMware, AWS, or Openshift
Experience working in an agile DevOps environment
Experience using and working with Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence
Experience implementing security lockdowns on Linux server environments
Ability to debug and enhance scripts and templates
Experience with source control programs such as Git or Stash
Experience programming python, bash, jinja or yaml
Preferred: Experience troubleshooting SELinux
Preferred: Past experience working with SPAWAR or the Department of Defense
Preferred: Active Secret DoD Security Clearance
Preferred: Experience with Big Data tools: Kafka, ZooKeeper, Accumulo, NiFi, etc.
Preferred: Experience with Linux Container technology such as Docker
Must be a U.S. Citizen
CompTIA Security+ Certified (or within 3 months of hire)
Linux+/RHCSA Certified (or within 3 months of hire)
