Role Summary/Purpose:

The position will provide consistency and predictability to FieldCore’s EHS incident investigation process and management. The EHS Investigations & Reporting Manager will be responsible for tracking all field events from occurrence to closure of their respective

corrective and preventative actions. Additionally, this role will coordinate the global learnings from event RCA’s and reports. This position reports to the Global EHS Strategy & Alignment Director.

Essential Functions:

  • Generate consistency and improvement across the business with respect to FieldCore’s incident investigation process

  • Manage incident reports; their quality, editing and review

  • Act as the SME for FieldCore’s EHS incident investigation program and deliver training to support the methodology

  • Generate content to support the competency development of FieldCore’s EHS incident investigation process

  • Perform verification audits as required

  • Develop, implement, and report out on incident status

  • Build and maintain relationships with Operation Leaders, Headquarter EHS, and Regional EHS Leaders

  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelors or 4-year degree from an accredited university or college in EHS, Operations, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Management or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in Environment, Health & Safety

  • 5 or more years of field service experience

  • Internal Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001, OSHAS 18001)

  • Lead Investigator (TOPSET, TAPROOT)

  • 5 or more years of field service experience

  • Strong knowledge of GE’s Power Services and/or Granite Services’ field operations and services business model.

  • Strong leadership capabilities

  • Deep understanding of EHS, Risk and Compliance

  • Proven experience managing incident / injury investigations, driving consistency and improvements using TAPROOT / TOPSET methodologies

  • Global experience executing EHS programs

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal

  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside of FieldCore (customers and regulatory agencies)

  • High energy, self-starter

  • Strong change management, oral and written communication skills

  • Certification in EHS; CSP, ASP, CMIOSH etc.

  • Strong writing skills; comfortable writing technical documents and general EHS communications
