Description
  • Supervise front desk and night audit associates and ensure smooth operation of front desk.

  • Supervise bell staff, shuttle drivers, and security if applicable.

  • Maintain occupancy, revenue, payroll, and expenses within budgeted parameters.

  • Create culture of high-quality guest service.

  • Respond to upset guests or difficult situations. Ensure all guest service issues are resolved prior to guests leaving the property.

  • Monitor associate interaction with guests to include arrival, guest room experience, lobby breakfast experience and departure.

  • Perform assigned administrative and financial duties such as daily reports, credit card reversals, bank deposits, city ledger, accounts receivables, travel agent research, lost and found, rooming lists and office supply inventory.

  • Maintain desired levels of quality assurance ratings including guest satisfaction, inspection scores, and associate satisfaction.

  • Responsible for proper key control and other security measures.

  • Knowledge of hotel packages, promotions, and discounts and how they should be handled.

  • Recruit and hire courteous and service oriented associates.

  • Train associates on policies, practices and procedures.

  • Responsible for performance reviews and disciplinary actions of associates with the approval of the General Manager.

  • Prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.

  • Work with General Manager to constantly improve curb appeal, lobby presentation and arrival experience.

  • Process and understand required reports and monitor reports for inconsistencies.

  • Perform night audit duties if needed.

  • Participate in Manager on Duty (MOD) program if applicable.

  • Perform work duties in accordance with hotel safety and security policies and procedures as well as OSHA regulations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or hospitality related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the hotel industry preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role preferred
