Role Summary/Purpose

The Finance Manager – North America will be a key partner to the North America Finance Director in running the business operations in FieldCore. This role will focus on providing finance leadership in the areas of field operations, resource management and

financial controls. Additionally this role will be instrumental in ensuring the region meets the financial goals in the short and medium term.

Essential Function

  • Manage blueprint discussions, operating plans, operating reviews/updates (Income Statement and Balance Sheet) for Field Services in the region

  • Lead calculation, analysis, and reporting of total field services financial metrics, including cost, utilization, and productivity, across multiple GE businesses supported by FieldCore in the region

  • Highlight key business performance drivers throughout the year; linking with operations to identify & mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities

  • Provide finance support for sourcing, tooling and resource management for the North America regions.

  • Identify key business growth and cost levers in the region and execute action plans to achieve them

  • Support integration efforts for the regions for GE Power Services and Granite Services for the North America region. Also, support integration of field services from various legacy businesses like Aero services, Alstom Thermal Services into FieldCore.


  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance

  • 7-9 years’ experience in a financial position or business operations

  • 5 years managing and developing employees

  • Experience working in the energy sector and specific field services experience
