Under the direct supervision of the Provider Marketing Manager, the Retention Specialist will provide patient, physician and Medicare Broker support services.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR CLIENTEL AND THE RESPONSIBLITIES OF THIS ROLE, BILINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH IS A MUST.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Deliver excellent Customer Service
Resolve patient issues i.e. patient bills, referral delays, missing ID cards
Track enrollment and dis-enrollment reports
Complete In-bound and outbound calls
Assist Medicare Agents i.e. process enrollment applications, eligibility verification
Track inventory supplies
Other duties as assigned by the Provider Marketing Manager
High School Diploma
Must possess excellent Customer Service skills
Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously
Must be able to work well with others
Must be detail oriented and possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be able to take direction
Associate of Arts (AA) degree preferred
Knowledge of health care claims and referral process
Current or prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a Doctor’s office or skilled-nursing facility a plus
