Leidos Senior Systems Engineer in SAN DIEGO, California
Leidos’s Federal Health Operation currently has an opening for a Senior Systems Engineer to support the TRICARE Online Sustainment in San Diego, CA with the potential to telework.
The TRICARE Online system (TOL) provides the 9.4 million DoD beneficiaries with a single, Military Health System wide Internet portal focused on providing patient centric services including core capabilities for online Appointing, Pharmacy (Rx) Refill, and access to medical record. The TRICARE Online (TOL) sustainment program provides operational support for the TOL system. The current TOL system consists of several components, including those hosted at DISA San Antonio as well as components hosted at each of the MHS Application Access Gateway (MAAG) locations supporting the interfaces to CHCS.
Responsible for TRICARE Online Systems design, buildouts and operations including technical planning, system design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding. Evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience. Has in-depth understanding of technical principles, theories, concepts and their application across range of products in Unix (Solaris, RHEL, AIX), Windows, virtualization, Oracle Products (OID, RAC, Fusion Middleware, Application Servers), DISA DECCs, distributed services in a RMF required environment. Serves as a subject matter expert within technical domain area.
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain ADPII government security clearance, DoD 8570.01M certifications will be required.
