Job Duties: This position supports the software configuration management of several change management efforts supporting the Advanced Data Analytics and Engineering (ADAE) division, V-22 Comprehensive Automated Maintenance Environment Optimized (CAMEO) and Readiness Integration Center (RIC). Primary responsibilities include: (1) Establishes and maintains software configuration and data management policies and procedures to be utilized by department personnel and other participating functions to ensure a standard and cost effective approach to the application of configuration and data management requirements.; (2) Analyzes changes to product specifications to determine the effect on the end product and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change control.; (3) Designs and establishes software configuration management documentation and processes.; (4) Validates the release of drawings, schedules and system configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups through the Request-For- Change process.; (5) Operates various DoD collaboration tools and updates databases with software configuration management information to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and auditing.; (6) Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new configuration management baseline operating parameters are documented, comply with standard configurations, and are logistically sustainable.; (7) Train requirement engineers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of CM quality standards.; (8) May provide guidance to less experienced employees.; (9) Develop tracking tools that can be supported on an online collaboration application/website.; (10) Works with standard commercial software products used for configuration management.Education/Equivalent:Bachelorand#39;s degree in a related field or 3+ years of relevant experience.Travel Required:None Comments:Apply for position online at Principals only.For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
