SOLUTE Careers Systems Administrator / Engineer in San Diego, California

We are seeking a motivated individual to provide Classified Network Information Technology support to one of our Navy customers.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Provide system administrative support to ensure that systems used for the upload, storage, and retrieval of SSA's configuration management requirements are available

  • Support and maintain web/data servers and client machines as well as maintain security accreditation of systems. Support requirements gathering of alternative solutions.Support building committed source code for developmental testing.

  • Support account creation and maintenance for all build tools and report status to management as required.

  • Research current and new automation techniques and tools as they pertain to SCM.

  • Support PKI encryption device connectivity and monitoring support in accordance with existing Network Security Directives

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university

  • 2 years of work experience with software build tools & troubleshooting (i.e. Jenkins, Wiki, Confluence, Jira, etc.)

  • Certifications: Security+, Windows OS (WIN7/Server 2008), and Linux

  • 3 years of experience with Subversion/GIT repository management

  • 2 years of Experience with Military Classified Networks/Applications/Tools

  • Professional oral and written presentation skills

  • Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills

  • Possess a US Department of Defense Secret security clearance

Differentiators:

  • 1 year of work experience with Product Lifecycle Management tool(s) (i.e. CMPro)

  • Experience in SPAWAR ashore and/or afloat C4I systems development environment (e.g., GCCS-M, GCCS-I3, TBMCS, NAOC2, MTC2)
