Job DescriptionLength: Direct HireSalary: $20,800 plus uncapped commission, plus bonusBenefits: Full employee benefitsSummaryAssists customers by helping them select and purchase products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greets customer on sales floor and determines make, type, and quality of merchandise desired.Displays merchandise, suggests selections that meet customer's needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utility.Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.Describe and/or demonstrate merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.Follows up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.Maintain records related to sales and quotes.Checks customer credit and confirms full payment before approving any sale.Requisitions merchandise from warehouse.Assist in maintenance of organized showroom.Uses database to research availability of merchandise. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
