Duties include:

  • Analyze manufacturing problems and identify automation or improvement opportunities.

  • Develop concepts and requirements for new equipment, research potential suppliers or integrators.

  • Justify new equipment acquisitions & lead purchasing, installation and commissioning activities.

  • Coordinate preparation of facilities and infrastructure to receive new equipment.

  • Manage new equipment projects and coordinate with outside suppliers and receiving programs.

  • Communicate project status and activities through reports, presentations and reviews.

Qualification:

Required:

Experience in acquisition, operation and/or programming of complex automated systems

Strong technical aptitude, excellent communication & interpersonal skills, demonstrated business acumen and relevant project management experience

Preferred:

Aerospace product & industry experience/knowledge CAD/CAM skills (Catia V5 preferred), strong computer skills, previous NC/Robotic programming experience, aerospace tooling experience, good technical writing skills and persuasive writing/presentation skills.

Education: BS in Engineering or related field and 3-5 years experience in manufacturing required (aerospace setting preferred)
