“Description: Under the supervision of the Day Camp Manager and Day Camp Coordinators, counselors will work with youth of various ages. Counselors must have the ability and desire to work with children, parents, volunteers, and peers. Counselors supervise
and lead activities for all Day Camp sessions. Counselors ensure safety and well-being of campers while they are in their care.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a philosophy of education and child development which is consistent with that of the Salvation Army Kroc Center. CPR/First Aid certifications upon the first day working with campers. Must be able to
read, write, and communicate in English.”
