JOB SUMMARY:

Acknowledges and welcomes Rady Children's Hospital guests, ascertains their needs, consults multiple information system resources and directs them appropriately. Provides families and visitors with access to and information about Rady Children's Hospital. Able to work with guests under stress and in emergency situations. Works independently with minimal supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED or foreign equivalent

2 years of experience

Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office applications

Able to communicate clearly and effectively in person and by phone

Excellent customer service skills, complemented by strong critical thinking skills

Read, write, and speak English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior healthcare experience required and/or medical terminology course completion
