We are looking for an experienced Sr. Program Director to manage clients and major Aviation programs in the Southern California region.If you are the right one for us, you have 20+ years in Aviation, with specific PM and CM experience on airside, terminal and landside/ancillary projects.
Our Program Directors are very hands on technical in the design and construction phases of our projects. We expect our Program Directors to monitor RFQ/P schedules, and coordinate the Parsons team for proposals. You will represent Parsons as the PM for various airports and
once a contract is captured and awarded, serve as PM for contract duration.
Additional responsibilities include:
Provides direction and management for every phase of significant projects or programs to assure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
In this role, you mustbe capable of managing a project or program valued up to $1 billion in total installed cost. Experience should also include operations management of personnel and facilities. Relocation to the job site may be required.
Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. Collaborates with Business Development to market and secure additional work with client. Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project. Participates in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria. Responsible for the development and distribution of a one to two-page description of the project to all members of the project team for reference.
4-year degree in Engineering or related technical/business field and at least 20+ years of related work experience is required in PM/CM services for aviation projects.
Candidate should have specific experience with Landside, Terminal and Airside development projects and broad general technical and business background, as well as previous project management experience on similar or related large-scope project types. Professional registration may also be required.
Incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements. Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required. In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
